The mission for the Adriatic is the Modified Atmosphere Packaging intended primarily restaurants, supermarkets and retail outlets where not present on the spot.
Packaging in trays with ATM (using gas mixtures food) creates unfavorable atmosphere inside the packages (anaerobic) to proliferation of microbes and keeps intact the characteristics of the food (color, smell, taste, nutritional characteristics, etc.)
The packaging process is not the same for all types of fish, each product has different characteristics, therefore, according to the type of fish, gases are used and various mixtures. Crucial for a good result is the use of high-quality fresh fish on the Adriatic which bases its production.
This innovative technology, which involves the replacement of the air with gas mixtures, prolongs the life of the product (shelf life) without the need to add chemical preservatives and stabilizers and maintains, with the refrigeration alone, all the characteristics of the fresh product.
